NOW LET’S GET INTO IT!
Hello Friends of Wellspring Relief:
We are glad that you stopped by. Yes we have 3 areas that we focus on as seen while you scroll down this website. (Someday we will tighten it up a bit.) But if you are looking for an idea where you can give some attention to, check out the following three ideas. Help our Waterways. Help Seniors. Help the Housing Situation with efficiencies for sale or rent and monitored rooming homes with rooms to rent.
1. Propose a Bill: Tax rebates to vitamin and protein powder companies who donate their recently expired vitamins and protein powder to designated collection companies or government facilities. The contents can be repurposed into a powder that can be added to oceans, bays and rivers to help fight the ongoing deadening pollutants that get deposited daily all over the globe.
2. Propose a Bill: Tax rebates to contractors who give senior citizens a discount for their services. Contractors can be eligible for the rebate by supplying receipts with names and addresses where the service was provided with their tax return.
The Ideas in 3A, 3B and 3C have the potential to generate Real Estate Sales and create Mortgages, thus helping some areas of the Bond Market.
Make a Real Estate Bonanza!
We need Transitional Housing. residences that are alternatives to becoming homeless or ‘house poor.”
Yes, affordable housing for people who have lost a loved one or are faced with divorce and have to support two residences, single people who don’t need that much space and seniors who want to scale down.
One condo building and 1 rooming house every 3 blocks in any township. Prices would be determined by the market value of that neighborhood.
So, in some neighborhoods renovation costs can include modifications and improvements that cost more. In other neighborhoods, repurposing and moderate renovation, more like industrial cleaning, painting, flooring, and new appliances etc. But let’s face it, we are not trying for smart home, high tech renovation here, we are talking about low priced affordable housing that meets code and that will provide the efficiency condos and rooming homes that are needed for people in many walks of life.
3. A. Propose a Bill: Tax rebates to contractors and investors to create/renovate old homes into efficiency apartments according the the square footage that is available. Homeowners can always decide if they can covert their home or investment property. First in both cases, check with zoning. It is an idea to help a housing social problem. Make grants available to the investors to convert homes into efficiencies that can sell with the proper contractual guidelines prepared by a professional. Local Zoning Laws would apply. Individuals, Companies and Nonprofits can qualify to own and manage the buildings. Each building would have a solar roof, electric heat/air-conditioning, electric cooking and other features that will make the efficiencies efficient and safe.
3. B. Propose a Bill: Tax rebates to contractors and investors to create/renovate old homes into monitored, managed rooming homes according the the square footage that is available.
Homeowners can always decide if they can covert their home or investment property. First check with zoning. Regular people can rent. See more details below.
3. C. Propose a Bill: Help the homeless housing problem, the social problem created by the homeless situation.
Make grants available to investors to convert hotels, office buildings and old hospitals into hospitals that can house the homeless with guidelines prepared by a professional.
Then also the State or Federal Government would pay the physicians, nurses, administration, maintenance etc. to operate the facility.
Local Zoning Laws would apply. Individuals, Companies and Nonprofits can qualify to renovate the buildings.
Each building would have a solar roof, electric heat/air-conditioning, electric cooking and other features that will make the hospital efficient and safe.
In this case of housing the homeless, the homeless person would become enrolled in a program like Section 8 that would pay rent to the individual, company or nonprofit that runs the hospital and maintains it. Also the homeless person would be enrolled in new drug testing clinical studies, surgical studies, social surveys and other surveys to earn income to subsidize their living requirements. They would also be eligible for food stamps for a small convenience store on the premises and receive a small amount of SSI money. The homeless person would be encouraged to be evaluated and trained for work while in the program. If they can’t work then they remain in the program indefinitely.
